Will it be quiet enough? We can say that all our ceiling fans are prepared to make a very low sound level that does not prevent sleep, especially when it comes to rooms. All of them are quiet and appropriate for most situations.

The SOUND LEVEL of a fan, in general, comes from these three sources:

1. Rotation speed: there is sound level derived from the air that slides through the blades when cutting the air in its rotational movement. The higher the speed, the higher the sound level. Therefore a large fan spinning slowly is better than a small one spinning fast.

2. Motor type: DC motors, direct current, are quieter and consume 70% less energy than conventional AC, alternating current.

3. From the manufacturer: the quality of the materials and their construction, designed not to make sound level is also a premise to take into account. It is what differentiates a cheaper fan, with the same characteristics of a more expensive one. Some of our products are

The rotational speed can be an important parameter, depending on where it is going to be installed and what the fan is going to be used for. In a bedroom, for example, we are interested in a fan that creates a light breeze that is not annoying at night. A minimum low rotational speed, about 70 to 90 rpm, would be perfect.

A fan with DC motor, lowers its minimum speed to 50 rpm.

A fan with a high maximum rotational speed, of the order of 200 rpm. It would be fine for spaces with fumes and smells, such as a kitchen.

SUMMER AND WINTER POSITION

This fan incorporates the WINTER/SUMMER function, which reverses the rotation of the blades and moves down the hot air accumulated in the ceiling. A simple way to improve heating and save on energy consumption.

SUMMER Mode

The downward airflow creates a wind cooling effect for further energy savings.

WINTER Mode

The upflow of air recirculates the increase of hot air for greater energy savings.
